As the calendar prepares for turkey and a turn to December, the Law Library will remains ready to support you as you begin to prep for finals.

The Law Library is ready to help in a number of ways. Whether you are still on-campus or working remotely, a friendly law librarian is only an email/chat/phone call away!

If you are in Madison and need a place to study:

The Law Library is open to law students on Black Friday from 8:30am-6pm and on Saturday, November 28th from 1pm-5pm. You can reserve a seat ahead of time using our seat reservation system.

During finals, the Law Library has extended our weekend hours. We'll be open from 9AM-6PM on Saturdays (December 5th and 12th) and 11AM-7PM on Sundays (December 6th and 13th). A Reference Librarian will be on-site at all times to answer any research questions you may have. Just ask for a Reference Librarian at the Circulation Desk and we'll come out to the desk and work with you in a safe, socially distanced way.

If you have a legal research question and are working remotely:

The Reference staff is here to help you no matter where you are! Reference staff are available on our chat service from 8:30AM-8PM Mondays-Thursdays, 8:30AM-6PM on Fridays, and all the hours we are open on the weekends listed above. Just click on "Chat Now" to connect with us!

Did you know that we also take phone calls? Call us at 608-262-3394. We'll talk through your questions.

You can also email us anytime and we'll get back to you very quickly. Get ahold of us at AskUWLaw@law.wisc.edu.

We understand that this has been a more stressful semester than usual. Law School is difficult enough without a pandemic on top of it. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

Until then, we hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
